Artists! market your work! Artworks NH Artist Exchange event

Today Malori and I participated in the 6th Annual Artis Exchange at the Currier Museum of Art.
Let me tell you a little about it ...
What is one of the most difficult thing for an artist to do? Some would say marketing their work.
It is not like you are marketing a set of kitchen knives! You are out there trying to market your work, an extension of yourself. This is very tough for many artists. That is exactly why Micro Credit NH put on this Artists Exchange, this is the 6th Annual. A whole day event with great speakers expanding on ways for artists to overcome these obstacles. These events are very beneficial to anyone involved in arts businesses. Anderstall Artworks was lucky enough to be the focus of a case study with a great panel of people involved with marketing and the arts businesses in the state. This panel discussed our business and how we can increase our strength in the market. We are very grateful for this opportunity and hope many other artists in the future take advantage of this great program. I encourage you to participate in these events. check them out at www.microcreditnh.org/artworksnh
The Final Weekend of the Concord Arts Market this Saturday!Don't miss out. (www.concordartsmarket.com) We will be going to Boston on Sunday for the South End Open Market. www.southendopenmarket.com

Whats cookin' @ Anderstall Artworks

Hello Everyone!,
This is all new "blogage" for Anderstall Artworks.
This is the new Blog "Right out of the Annealer"
An annealer is the oven or kiln in which glass gets put in after it is made. So we titled this right out of the annealer. It will be the "whats new" face of Anderstall Artworks, whats hot, new stuff, new ideas , new pics of what were creating. As in We, I mean the owners of Anderstall Artworks, Joe Forrestall, and Malori Anderson. I create many different hand blown glass creations and Malori creates, beaded jewelry, and prints of many types. Who knows what creations you will see from us down the road, but for now it is glass, jewelry and prints. We are in Bow NH, and retail locally and across the country.
So what is right out of the annealer?

well these beautiful earrings are Malori's latest creation. All sterling silver hand formed wire with hand made glass beads! great piece- we will have some of these shortly at the Speakeasy Boutique in Concord NH.

This is a new little creature pendant by Joe

This piece was made By Joe and Robert Burch of Brandywine Glass- this piece is a sample piece, please inquire about orders. gotta love the Sea Turtles.

Just a wild photo by Aaron Baker, NH

Look for more "right out of the annealer" coming soon...
